Eco Club

The club has 85 members. Children are given an opportunity to study agriculture and nature. World Environment Day Celebration 2019 on 5th June 2019. Saplings were distributed free to students and staff.

Hindi Club

The Hindi Club started functioning on 3rd July 2018. The students from class 5 to 12 are the members of the club. The club functions under the leadership of the students. During the natural calamities that affected our state, the club member took initiative along with the social service team of the school in providing necessary items to the flood-affected.
The club members actively participated in the Science exhibition, where they exhibited the linguistic attributes of learning the language, integrating it with scientific learning. This academic session (2019-20) club started on 6th August. The first meeting was convened on the same day, the selection of new leaders and upcoming club activities were planned. The club proposes to conduct a special assembly during this academic session. Club members are also interested to join hand with the social service club for campus cleaning and charity work.

Sports Club

2018-19

Under the auspices of the Sports Club, from the onset of this academic year (2018-19) students are given evening practice for Kho-Kho, Football and athletics. Our students participated in various Interschool and Inter house competitions and bagged several prizes. Our Kho-Kho team exhibited exemplary performance and bagged 6 prizes Individual trophies in the SZSC competition. Grabbing both the boys and girls championship.

2019-20

The sports club members will be participating in the upcoming events of SZSC and will bring laurels to the school. Practice sessions for the same are going on in the school after the school hours and students are provided with refreshment and free transport facility.

English Club (2018-19)

An English Club was set up to increase the awareness and skills of students in the English Language. The members of the literacy club were encouraged to study the language and its nuances in detail. To enhance vocabulary games and word puzzles were organized. Students were assigned with various topics, of importance to speak on. Students are advised to hone their reading skills by reading books from different genres. Club members were encouraged to participate in Interschool and Intra School English Debate competition and School exhibition. Some of them bagged prizes in the inter-school competitions held. The students participated actively in all the events conducted by the English club for the enhancement of the linguistic skills among the students.
English club members are also promoting the usage of English language in the campus, and bringing awareness among the students regarding the need of learning English as an additional language for communication and its global importance.

English Club (Junior)

Club meeting was held on 26.08.2019. The meeting was an interactive, session were the children were motivated to use English to communicate among themselves and with the teachers. Forecasted the activities for the academic session 2019-20. The children were divided into groups and were given activities like picture dictionary
(A-Z) collecting pictures/words and description. The club decided to do

Science Club

Last Academic Year (2018-19) was a charming year for our Science Club members. We had devised many activities for the Science Club.
Onam Celebration was associated with Ghee distribution along with Onam Kit. We also collected clothes, books and other commodities for flood relief camps. We have also done certain activities which brought laurels and fame to our club. They are as follows.

Third prize in Novateur Junior Science Expo(South Zone Sahodaya Complex).School Exhibition “Novus” was a brilliant one which showcased the talent of all students of the whole school. We got actually 1300 exhibits.

Hands-on Experience was conducted for various classes to bring out the curiosity in science. We got Third Prize in Low vision Aids Exhibition Competition.

All these were wonderful achievement of our students. I consider this as an opportunity to congratulate all the winners and participants and also to encourage for future activities.
